Click the New Secure Chat button. You can then fill out the following fields:
- What is the name of this chat room?
- Who should be able to access this chat? – Can be a private 2-person chat or a larger group chat.
- When should messages disappear? – 1 hour, 8 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 4 weeks.
Type your message in the Message field and click Send. You can add attachments by clicking the attachment button to the left of the Message field.
You can keep an eye on all of your Secure Chats by looking at the list to the left of the chat area. The green icon tells you how many new notifications you have within that chat.
